I spoke to some of the people who used Papillion Tours (think that was their name) for their Grand Canyon trip and they were very positive. I tried to complain about my experience but Grand Canyon Tours refused to even aknowledge my communication. As you can probably guess from the comments above, he didn't! Fortunately one of the Native American guys at the airstrip helped us. A friend of mine got sick when we arrived at the Canyon, so we asked the tour guide for help. Its just a shame our Grand Canyon trip was such a disaster. We had a great time and found the Las Vegans to be really friendly welcoming people. Seriously folks, myself and a big group of friends came over to Vegas recently from England to see a friend get married. 5-Don't expect a reply or aknowledgement from Grand Canyon Tours when you complain. If a friend in your party gets sick they might be able to get your friend back to Vegas when the Grand Canyon Tour rep refuses to aknowledge the problem or help. 4-Make a friend of one of the Native American guys at the airstrip where Grand Canyon Tours dump you. 3- Don't feel too jealous of the other tour groups with kind, helpful and english speaking tour guides, for example, Papillion. 2 - Don't get angry if a friend in your party gets sick and your Grand Canyon Tour Representative refuses to help. 1 - Make sure they have an English speaking tour guide at the Grand Canyon. In short, I found the Canyon to be beautiful, the length of the tour to be very long because of the number of stops.

The others in our group could not believe the drivers attitude, and general lack of class. As we got off the bus the driver upon only receiving two dollars began asking me "What was the problem, did'nt I like the tour?" He then asked my wife what my problem was that I only gave him two dollars. The two other couples each had five dollar bills. Upon arriving back at our hotel at 10:30 PM, I realized that I only had two single dollar bills along with twenty dollar bills. Unfortunately, myself and my group remained on the original bus.
Approximately half the bus went to the other shuttle based on final hotel destination. Once we arrived back in Las Vegas at 10:15 PM the driver began to complain that he had to go to several hotels and Showtime only provided one additional shuttle instead of the two he requested. having a tip from the entire fifty-one passengers, as tipping is not customary in some societies. Upon departing from the travel center the driver announced that we should all tip him individually vs. We also stopped at a merchandise store, and a Subway Restaurant located at a roadside travel center. This time we had three stops as the driver left his jacket at the place we stopped for lunch. In total we were at the canyon for approximately two hours and thirty minutes. After arriving at the canyon, we viewed it from two locations. He even told a story of how a woman honored her dead husband by taking a helicopter tour after his death a few months earlier. During the drive the driver really pushed the helicopter tours. Once the drive to the Canyon began, the driver stopped once for pictures at the Hoover Dam, once at a roadside store that sold American Indian Merchandise, and once for lunch. The tour bus left the main terminal at 7:50 AM. We were picked up at our hotel at 6:35 AM, and arived at Showtime's main terminal after picking up others at their respective hotels.
